All About Community | South Florida Photographer
Here’s the story behind the Garcia family shoot.
I met the Garcia family back in 2020 when I photographed Penelope’s newborn session. At the time, they lived in a different neighborhood than mine in Jupiter, Florida.
Fast forward a few years (and a few sessions later), and now this sweet family lives right here in our community. Their kiddos go to school with my kiddos, we run into each other at our favorite ice cream shop, and pass by one another in the grocery store. When my daughter sees Penelope at school, she runs up to give her a hug — and it’s the sweetest thing.
Moments like these remind me that this job is about so much more than photos. It’s about connection, relationships, and watching families grow through the years.
There’s something incredibly special about building a community with the people you photograph — seeing tiny newborns turn into big kids, celebrating milestones together, and becoming familiar faces in each other’s everyday lives.
To my clients who have become friends, neighbors, and part of our story… thank you. Watching your families grow alongside mine is truly one of the greatest gifts of this job
This session was photographed at Dubois Park in Jupiter in the morning.
